"Tell me doctor, where are we going this time? is it the 50s or 1999?" Well, actually my fellow Geeks we're heading Back to the 80s & 90s with NERD Fest 2020 on Sunday, April 19th!

Growing year on year the NERD team have built a great event fit for the whole family and children of all ages, as well as supporting Metro Radios Cash for Kids Charity! We honestly Love this event so much we're one of the main sponsors this year so get your tickets booked now!

This year Nerd Fest is celebrating the greatest games of the 80s era with a dedicated game room, free to play Arcade Machines, Game Tournaments, Cosplay Competitions, Photo Ops, Food, Bar and the best of local traders selling Video Games, Crafts, Gifts, Apparel, Collectables and Funkos Pops!

Boiler Shop, Newcastle, NE1 3PE

1) Tickets can be bought from Eventbrite (link below) Adults- £6, Under 12- £5, Under 5- Free, There will be tickets available on the door (this will be cash only)

2) NERD FRIGHT FEST will run from 10am- 4pm

3) Parking & Public Transport- Nearest car parks- Stephenson Quarter, Forth Banks, NE1 3PH. Newcastle Central Station is adjacent and is a 5-minute walk from Venue

4) The venue is accessible for all, with a lift for use by wheelchairs up to the gaming area

5) Food and drink will be available on the day

6) There are no cash machines on site but a list will be posted of the nearest ones. Some traders will be taking card payment but we cannot guarantee who

7) The bottom floor will be where the traders will be trading from, also the bar and food is available on this floor. Top-level will be the gaming zone where arcades, consoles and the tournaments will be held

8) Tickets for the tournaments are sold separately to the event ticket, please stay tuned to the event page on how to purchase these

9) There are full toilet facilities in the venue

10) 50p from every ticket will be going to Metro Radio Cash for Kids who will also be in attendance
